Greetings, Bearcats!
My name is Lizzie Garner, and I am honored and excited to serve as the new assistant principal for Elise Middle and North Moore High School. What a privilege it is to now serve two schools that once served me! ROCKET, BEARCAT, MUSTANG PRIDE FOREVER!
This is my sixteenth year in public education and I LOVE CHILDREN of all ages! Over the past nine years, I have served at the district level as an Instructional Support Specialist within the MCS Exceptional Children’s Department. I have general education classroom experience, as well as experience teaching students with intensive behavioral needs. I am a Crisis Prevention Intervention Instructor for our school district and I am passionate about trauma informed educational practices.
My husband and I both grew up in Robbins and proudly still call it home! We have two precious children, Tallie Grace (6 years old) and Theodore (3 years old).
Professionally, I am passionate about finding ways to individualize instruction for students. I believe that a culturally responsive, project-based learning environment helps remove barriers to learning so that all children can reach their full potential.
This community is my home and I am committed to being a supportive leader who is here to listen to the needs of students, families, and staff members. I will use my leadership skills to help accomplish the goals that we create together. I can’t tell you how excited I am to rejoin the Bearcat/Mustang Family!
