Hello, I am Ashley Priest and proud to be the principal of Elise Middle School! I obtained my bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University in Michigan and my master’s degree in School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I started my career in Moore County Schools, teaching at Carthage Elementary before taking the leap to teach and integrate STEM in K-5 classes and schools across Moore County. I have served Moore County Schools for three years as an assistant principal before becoming Elise Middle School Principal last school year. I am excited to have the opportunity to serve the Robbins community.
I am a student-focused leader who lifts, inspires and collaborates with innovative professionals to create an engaging and supportive learning environment so all students can learn.I truly believe when students are engaged and motivated, they will grow leaps and bounds. I believe in encouraging students to reach their full potential and lead productive lives.
I currently live off a farm in Carthage with my husband, our beautiful two year old daughter, and our three fur babies.
