Amanda Voglezon, Assistant Principal

Amanda VoglezonI am excited to join the wonderful team of teachers, students, parents, and community members at Elise Middle School.  It is my passion to ensure all students have the opportunity to succeed, and I look forward to working with each member of the Bearcat community to provide a positive and safe learning environment for all students.

My past experiences in education have each played an important role in my journey to become a school administrator.  Previously, I served as an assistant principal intern for Moore County Schools, on the administrative staff for the Moore County Literacy Council, on the administrative staff for the University of Maryland University College Asia, and as a high school French teacher.  I hold an Educational Specialist (Ed.S) degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University, a Master of Arts in French Language and Literature from Middlebury College, and a Bachelor of Arts in French Education from North Carolina State University.

I am originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, and moved to Moore County with my husband last year.  I am a proud military spouse and enjoy traveling, exercising, and trying new food!

I look forward to the start of the 2019-2020 school year, and want to thank you for allowing me to join the team at Elise Middle.  My door is always open; please do not hesitate to contact me.

Go Bearcats!
